Virtual Instructor-led Learning or training (VILT), is training that is delivered through a virtual environment where the instructor and learner are in separate locations. Done correctly, virtual learning can be as informative and more engaging than a real-life classroom, given the learning designer's ability to create engagement tools that bring the learner into the conversation more effectively with interactive tools that engage all learners at the same time.
