What is Remote Working?

Remote working is the term used to describe professionals who leverage technology to work for a business without being physically present.  These technologies have been available for decades but recent pandemic related isolation has mandated its use and popularity.


What is Digitization?

Digitization is the process of converting information into a digital (ie computer-readable) format.  Digitization is crucial in data processing, storage, and transmission, in that, it allows information to be shared and accessed between multiple users, in multiple locations and updated in real-time. 


What is Virtual Instructor led Learning?

Virtual Instructor-led Learning or training (VILT), is training that is delivered through a virtual environment where the instructor and learner are in separate locations.  Done correctly, virtual learning can be as informative and more engaging than a real-life classroom, given the learning designer's ability to create engagement tools that bring the learner into the conversation more effectively with interactive tools that engage all learners at the same time.  


What is Leading Through Adversity?

Leading through adversity is the ability to engage with a team fully, to influence and inspire performance that supersedes economic conditions, new regulations, changing technologies or re-engineered operational processes in response to unforeseen circumstances.  Leaders are master connectors, relationship builders, trust builders, and visionaries with the ability to create buy-in from teams to get the work done today, that brings into fruition the vision for tomorrow.  Their performance is measured and consistent, despite any short-term or long-term adversity.


What is Diversity and Inclusion?

Diversity is the understanding, accepting, and valuing of differences between people as in race, ethnicities, gender, age, religion, varying ability and sexual orientation.  Inclusion is deliberately ensuring that the diversity of an organization is visible across all departments and company policies not just written on posted mission or vision statements.


What is a Wellness Program?

A wellness program is a set of support strategies, products and services that seek to support  workers in obtaining optimal mental and physical health. This fosters both a stronger work-performance and personal life balance. These programs lend support to an employee's mental / physical health and safety, to prevent mental or physical burnout.  Wellness programs are often welcomed reprieves from tension and stress, and promote connectedness / positive relationships between employees and within family units.
